A Quick Note💌
I had a doctor’s appointment today & my doctor said happily that I had lost 25 lbs. She asked me if I started with a goal in mind. And the answer was no. My weight has fluctuated over the years due to crash diets, diet fads, etc. But this time, I decided to create a lifestyle, one that I can maintain without being unrealistically restrictive. And also bc there are a host of conditions (high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.) for me to proactively consider on both my parents’ sides. As I get older, I understand that health truly is wealth. Everyday brings a new opportunity for growth & I’ll tell you like I tell myself every morning:
Just do the best you can for that day. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow may not even be♥️
